This model has the largest body of all Kinkade six string acoustics and is strongly derived from the C.F. Martin company’s ‘de facto’ design. It has the deepest bass response of all making it a perennial favourite of Bluegrass rhythm players and all Flat-pickers ‘par excellence’. Jonny Kinkade has taken this design a step further by retaining the balance of smaller bodied guitars by careful design and shaping of struts, where required. This size guitar was originally developed for vocal accompaniment and still sets the standard for flatpicking styles and general rhythm work, in an ensemble setting.
